(4,879 posts)I am so glad Dylan Chambers put this together.
This song has come to my mind every time I have watched a Bernie rally.
It also reminds me that it was the Democratic party itself that worked so hard to crush a progressive movement by a huge upcoming generation.
Deja vu, anyone?

(4,879 posts)It brought me to a position - My son works for a community radio station (KNON 89.3). They just started a new pledge drive. I will donate $50 to the 1st DJ that plays that song in tribute to Bernie.
I'll do without a few meals for that.
Thank you Stardust.

(41,600 posts)I'll never understand why people call him curmudgeonly! He's only curmudgeonly to the Corrupt corporate owned MSM because he knows they're corrupt! He's kind and warms to we commoners. I think he's more comfortable around ordinary people. He always seems at ease shaking hands and hugging people - it comes easily to him.
Great, great video! And those crowds! That's why he's going to win tonight...all-those-people.

(812 posts)Looked it up, and seems they're considered a soul band. I always thought this song rocked pretty hard. (Doing a cover of it with loud guitars, for ex, should be fairly appropriate.)
