*Key Democratic Leader and Former Mass. Senator Paul Kirk Endorsed Bernie Sanders at a Rally at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire on Jan. 14*

Kirk is a one-time Mass. Senator, influential Democratic Party leader and a native of Newton, Mass. He is mostly known as a former aide to Sen. Ted Kennedy and for serving as the Democratic National Committee Chairman from 1985-1989.

In 2009 following Kennedy's death, Kirk was appointed to the Senate to fill the vacant seat. He served as interim senator until Republican Scott Brown was sworn in on Feb. 4, 2010 following a special election.

Kirk is also one of 400 Super Delegates who are free to vote for whomever they want during the nominating process at the party convention. In the 2008 primary he endorsed Barack Obama.

Speaking at the Hanover, New Hampshire rally, Kirk praised Sanders for his position against the influence of money in politics and his campaign's success fundraising off small donations.

"The American people are sick of the old way", Kirk said per the Boston Globe. "They also believe-- as Bernie and I do-- enough is enough."

South Carolina State Rep. & attny. Justin T. Bamberg Explains Why He Switched to Endorse Sanders from Clinton, Jan. 26

Honesty, boldness and trustworthy are some of the reasons Rep. Bamberg decided to change his support to Sanders recently. The Vermont candidate's position on single-payer health care is a critical issue in Bamberg's area and another main reason for switching his endorsement to Sanders from Clinton in Dec. He also believes Bernie and his platform are rising in appeal as people get to know him and that he can do it.
The S. C. state representative and attorney was a prominent figure in the effort to take the Confederate flag down from the South Carolina Statehouse.

Justin Bamberg was also the lawyer for the family of Walter Scott, the police-shooting victim. Mr. Scott, age 50 and unarmed, was shot and killed in April 2015 while running away from North Charleston police officer Michael Slager. Slager was subsequently arrested, indicted, denied bail for months and then released earlier this month once a new trial date was set. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/justin-bamberg-bernie-sanders_us_56a6447be4b076aadcc7366b

-SANDERS ENDORSED BY KEY SOUTH CAROLINA DEMOCRAT RICHARD HARPOOTLIAN - The Hill, Feb, 3, 2016

Former South Carolina Democratic Party Chairman Richard Harpootlian on Wednesday endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) for president.

"You sort of say, 'Well, can he do it?' " Harpootlian said, according to the New York Times. "It's like 2007, when I met Barack Obama fully intending to support Hillary Clinton. And after a half hour with him he convinced me, not convinced me so much as I saw a passion in him.

Hillary is not an agent of change — I mean, her campaign slogan should be, ‘It’s my turn,’ ” he added.

“It’s hard for me to listen to how Hillary says she would fight Wall Street when she took hundreds of thousands of dollars in speaking fees from Goldman Sachs — not 20 years ago, but a couple years ago. She’s talking the talk, but not walking the walk.”

- Richard Harpootlian served twice as the Democratic Party Chairman in South Carolina, 1998-2003 and 2011-2013 -

41. Christopher J. Regan, Vice Chair of the Democratic Party of West Virginia Endorsed Bernie Jan. 30
Sun Feb 7, 2016, 08:28 PM
Feb 2016

Chris Regan is also an attorney who practices law representing people in WV, OH and PA. He lives on a farm outside Wheeling with his wife, daughter and three good dogs.

- Chris Regan, Vice Chair and Belinda Belafore, Chair, the West Virginia Democratic Party -

BERNIE SANDERS FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, Chris Regan's letter posted Jan. 30, 2016

Our country faces a middle-class crisis. Well-funded corporations and politicians have used billions of dollars to corrupt our politics and drive down the wages working families need to survive. The candidate for President who fights the influence of corporate money, and champions the interests of working families, is Bernie Sanders.
West Virginia is seeing first hand how elite corporations can take over the government and attack the interests of working people with impunity. Republicans have taken prevailing wages and benefits from construction workers, threatened health care and retirement promises to schoolteachers, and pushed a union-busting agenda with euphemisms like “workplace freedom.” West Virginia needs a national campaign devoted to the paychecks of middle-class families. Bernie Sanders will lead that fight.

As the most recent debate showed, the Republicans have nothing to offer America except reckless, ill-considered wars and giveaways to billionaires. Bernie Sanders opposed the war in Iraq and will not act dangerously in foreign policy, as Republicans promise to do. Senator Sanders has fought to honor our nation’s promises to our veterans who have returned from war, while his GOP opponents use our military personnel as political props.
Every Republican has proposed a huge tax cut for the rich. Bernie Sanders will make sure the rich pay their fair share and give working families a break. Senator Sanders walks the walk — gathering unprecedented numbers of individual donations from ordinary Americans to fund his campaign so he is not beholden to Wall Street, corporate America, or some dark-money PAC. He will restore integrity to our political process.
The middle class is America’s heart and soul. The concerns of middle-class families, including health care, tuition, and a rising wage for honest work must be our focus in 2016, not just here in West Virginia, but across the country. We cannot afford leadership corrupted by corporate money any longer. I endorse Bernie Sanders’ message, his values, and his unparalleled commitment to taking our country back from the billionaire class.

I endorse Bernie Sanders for President of the United States of America.
