Until the Iowa Democratic Party allows a thorough examination of the caucus results

We will never, ever know the true outcome of the Iowa caucuses.

Iowa citizens are coming forward. They are looking at the official delegates won, as reported by the Iowa Democratic Party on their website. They are noticing that Bernie was denied delegates won; Clinton earned delegates she didn't earn.

These mistakes are being rectified. I am sure they will be corrected.

However, there are nearly 1700 Iowa Democratic precincts. Most people will not compare their caucus result with the official Democratic Party result.

Many won't know how to find the IDP official counts online.

That's the sad truth.

However, everyone understands that there was cheating. Everyone knows that the gatekeeper--Andy McGuire, whose license plate reads, "HRC2016"--is the one Chairperson of the Iowa Democratic Party and the person who is singlehandedly preventing an full audit of the caucus.

So, we will most likely never know who won, or who didn't win the Iowa Caucuses.

I am so sad for my state of Iowa and for our caucus process. It's been turned into a farce. In 2008 we had record turnout of 240,000 for Obama. Didn't have any problems. This year was fraught with cheating, misreported numbers, shenanigans and 100+ precincts staffed without Precinct Chairs. The Iowa Democratic Party, headed by Hillary friend Andy McGuire, was responsible for staffing those caucuses. None of this happened in 2008, with much larger attendance. This year, our caucuses were thrown into chaos when Hillary Clinton was involved. How is it possible that this was not, by design?

I don't blame anyone for believing that our caucus process is terrible. It's so sad, because it's not true. Our caucuses our quirky, but they were always transparent. Voting by a show of hands. Democracy in action.

Hillary Clinton has called the caucuses, "creatures of the extreme" because caucus voters, especially in Iowa, tend to lean left. Caucuses are not as easily stolen, either. However, they sure pulled all the stops. There was cheating in my caucus. It's just so painful. All of this.

When my husband and I returned from our caucus, he told me that the initial room count matched with the final count. I told him that was impossible because I escorted O'Malley supporters out of the door and other Clinton supporters left because their kids were unruly. Both myself and another precinct captain saw this. So, the counts couldn't have matched. My husband sat down, with his head down and said, "So that's how they did it." The Clinton supporters waited for Bernie to give his final count. They then went to the delegate table and worked the numbers, then revealed their number. They purposely made the counts match. Which means she gained people/numbers that she shouldn't have. Isn't that a nice trick?

And the final Bernie total only increased by 4. That was a mistake, as I had walked over at least 7 new converts from O'Malley and Undecided camps.

The result in our precinct was Clinton 6; Bernie 3. Bernie was only 3 people away from changing the final delegate count to Clinton 5; Bernie 4. Between the Clinton cheating (adding on numbers to their count) and Bernie's numbers not being properly added) she prevailed. I was responsible for turning supporters for Bernie. My biggest regret, was not paying more attention to the math. I guess I have to live with that.

There's nothing that can be done. You can't recapitulate a caucus. How many times did this happen in Iowa? Times that we will never know about?

I will be switching my Iowa Party Registration from Democrat, to Independent--on Monday morning. Such a tragedy and a loss for Iowans, our caucus procedure, our state, our state party, and for those of us who worked tirelessly and honestly for Bernie.

Bernie may not have won. But we will forever be robbed of knowing the final result. Hillary's friend, Andy McGuire held fundraisers in her home for Hillary Clinton. She also co-chaired Hillary's 2008 Iowa campaign. This is the person standing in the way of a full audit.

I can't believe that this happened in my state. I can't believe there was cheating in my precinct, right under my nose. I can't believe that all of our hard work--the hours of canvassing in frigid temperatures, the thousand of numbers dialed and all of the other honest work--was usurped by dirty tricks, cheating and corrupt Iowa Hillary fans who won't allow a complete audit.

Examining a small and select number of mistakes from people who have come forward--is not enough. That's not thorough.

So I guess we all march forward for Bernie, not knowing what really happened in Iowa. I'm so sorry.
