the superdelegates won't dare deny him the nomination. If that happened the resulting outrage would almost guarantee a Democratic loss in November.

They certainly believe that the superdelegates that have committed to her not only have the right, but the obligation to grant her the election over the voter delegates if she has enough committed superdelegates to do so.

Is this really true, making the petition meaningless?
