silly post, but hey, over in that other group they're talking about jazz hands.

(1,021 posts)Was that it looked like Kim Jong Un would demand for a space suit, or something a Bond villain would wear (she was only missing a cat). Of course, commenting on the way anyone dresses is inherently sexist it seems, so I'm probably not supposed to describe the extent to which I found her attire comical.

It was speculated months ago that Bernie's role was to move Hillary to the left. Sure seems to be happening.
She'll be like Obama. Run as a progressive. Govern from the center as a corporatist.

(14,733 posts)First, nothing about Bernie in the post, which makes this an odd group to post it in, and second, talking about a female politician's mode of dress is so cliche. I will admit, I actually like that style - I've always sort of like Mandarin or 'high collar' outfits even if I can never find them for myself, but it's really not anything substantive.

The talk about his supposed "jazz hands" - OP was intended as an equally ridiculous retort.

(20,211 posts)The Mandarin collar suit is cut straight or even a bit A-line. It can also be longer. A traditional suit jacket with lapels is fitted. When you have a less defined waist it calls attention to it. Sure, you can wear it open, but that calls attention to your tummy.
Also, the high collar covers the neck area which most older women are sensitive about.
