New poll: Clinton, Sanders tied in Nevada

A new poll of Nevada Democrats – the first in nearly two months – shows former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in a dead heat eight days before the Democratic caucuses.

The poll, conducted by The Washington Free Beacon, shows Clinton and Sanders tied at 45 percent for likely caucus goers. Nine percent remained undecided.

The survey was conducted by TargetPoint Consulting, and includes responses from 1,236 likely Democratic caucusgoers. The margin of error is 2.9 percent.

This poll has what I like to see -- a minimum of 750 respondents, and and maximum margin of error of three points.

It has crappy questions about both candidates. However, it asks the preferred candidate question right out of the gate, before the rest of the nonsense, and never revisits it. Not only that, 538 is calling it 50/50 in Nevada right now--in other words, exact same view as the poll arrived at. Sorry, I'm heading to bed and don't have time to find links, but if you look for the thread I started on the Nevada poll today (well, now yesterday), you'll find them, along with some info about what questions were on it.
