Twitter. Instagram. Something is happening. There is a movement.

I have been on twitter for about 1 year.
During the last month I am witnessing something completely different.
There are so many Bernie hashtags.
You post something to one hashtag & you find new people to follow, and you have new followers.
People are banding together. On twitter! We are finding each other & sharing info all in support of Bernie.

Instagram. Not on it, but tonite my millennial daughter was over for dinner. We never talk politics - long story!
Out of the blue she says to me - Bernie is going to win. "Mom - all of my friends love him. Every day people are posting new memes in support of Bernie. No one ever cared about politics before. They all love Bernie."

Something is happening. The movement is real.

there was another post yesterday about a "Hillary canvasser" who turned out to actually be
for Bernie, but his union strong-armed him to canvass for Hillary. he confided in the Bernie
supporter he canvased that "everyone he knows is actually voting for Bernie".. I loved that,
and your post reminded me of it. because yes. something IS happening, something that's
off most people's radar altogether, unless they have "ears to hear, eyes to see".

Some of us that had been in need of change for our very futures once at her age and were able to fight for and win some of them, realize that now that they are choosing to do so and have finally found some honest support in Washington willing to help them start their own revolution for change for their generation (stating with Sanders if he wins, but not ending there if the political revolution gets off the ground)

Let her know that some of us are still around to help them and still willing, not for what we want, but for what they decide they need.

I am one of them and I am in earnest and will be helping in my area, I will not be alone, there are a great many like me all over the country that will help them as well.

As a personal note for you jillan, I hope you are part of the movement that is happening as well, it is for us too, but mostly for those that will come after us

That means so much!

On a side note, I did drag her to see Bernie when he was in Phoenix over the fall. 10k people, she was impressed but not excited. I think it's her friends that are opening her eyes. And that is amazing in itself

Bernie has been on my radar for years, first hearing of him when he got into the Senate.

But when he decided to run for president, I was reminded of that scene in 'The West Wing' where Josh calls Sam saying "I've found him", him referring to the future president.

I too found Bernie as a candidate such as no other I've known and I'll be 60 this summer.

People who have never cared or participated in the political process, or those that got fed up and gave up on it, are getting involved because of Bernie. Now the trick is to keep them all involved, particularly after the election, and turn everyone into an activist.

If that happens, the oligarchy is toast.

I started voting in 1972. Bernie is the FIRST candidate I've ever been enthused about.

We're going to win this!

HRC still hasn't figured that out. Bernie's people have.

Bernie's people have figure out exactly how to get to new voters.

That's why he will be our next president.

TPTB are befuddled about how to fix it! IT'S-TOO-BIG! It's now out of control. That inconsequential Bernie snowball has been rolling and picking up velocity for 9 freakin' months (while they ignored him) and is now too big and unstoppable.

Apparently, they didn't know Bernie was on Thom Hartmann show, every Friday for 10 YEARS and millions upon millions of people heard him, loved him and begged him to run for president! He already had a YUUUUUGE support base when he entered the race! Not only did TPTB not know about the Thom Hartmann supporters, but people like me, who have known and loved him since his early days in the House.....CSPAN junkies who heard his floor speeches and have loved him for years. He's always been more popular than TPTB ever knew.

He had a "base" when he entered the race. TPTB had no clue and now he's more popular than they ever imagined! It's their own fault for being so damn corrupt!

I've hoped and hoped and hoped for so many years he would run. I think The feedback he got from Thom Hartmann listeners finally convinced him (and a Veteran who talked to him) his time had come! We're so lucky!

Sheltered entitled twitter-brats who grew up being force-fed a steady diet of anti-Democratic Anti-Hillary talking points are happily hopping down the bunny-trail following another old white entitled man.

It is getting ugly out there.

Yes, the movement is real, and not just among the younger generations!
