As far as Single-Payer goes...

I think Bernie should also mention the savings to the employer also if we had a Medicare for all system.
Especially the Public Sector employer who relies on our tax dollars. They are paying yooooge amounts to insurance corporations by covering the cost of their employees and families. We are paying this cost.

That's a great point. Single-payer has a "pro-business" aspect to it as well. 99th_Monkey Feb 2016 #2

He should use this.

I sent an email to his campaign.
We all should.

Bernie's plan is "business friendly"'.
He needs to say this and let the critics heads explode.

The system we have now is certainly business friendly to that business.

So yes, we need Single Payer, Universal Health Care. Show a card and get treated for whatever, without worrying about bankruptcy.... Unlike now.

services, something they don't have from the private sector. I have never had a doctor refuse my Medicare, however, most won't take the privatized Medicare Advantage plans in my area because the HMOs and insurers will try to find angles not to pay and therefore stiff the doctors and other providers. So it's good for business from that POV.

Why would ANYBODY choose to pay more to a middleman for getting less service?
