(3,623 posts)Otherwise she deserves no support and yet she has a ton of support. Voters in general are cynical yet dumb. They don't trust her and yet they don't punish her for it in the polls.

(3,623 posts)The game is rigged. Only thing I don't like is Bernie shouting so much with a small audience. It's okay to be more calm or low volume in this smaller environment.

(3,623 posts)That kid seemed like a total jerk first and foremost. Likely paid by Clintons and question written by Clintons. Doesn't come off good for a white Millenial to make a jerk question like that when the subject legitimately fought for Civil Rights 50+ years ago.

(41,505 posts)MSNBC wrote these questions for audience. People might have wanted to ask questions on these topics but @MSNBC wrote them. #MSNBCTownhall
Almost every question is against @SenSanders while last night almost every question was on GOP side.
Did Hillary Clinton write these questions for @MSNBC or was it Morning Joe on behalf of @realDonaldTrump? #MSNBCTownhall
every single question has been framed against @SenSanders so far. Most skeptical about how he will treat minorities. #MSNBCTownhall

(7,499 posts)I can't help but think if DWS, the DNC and The Machine throw the nomination there will one hell of a backlash.
There is so much anger about dirty politics and the power brokers who have the government in a stranglehold...people will be mad as hell, and I don't see them (us) taking it lying down. Not this time.

(7,321 posts)Tried to listen to her for a few minutes, I just can't take it she turns me off with every lie she utters and I had to tune out. But I'd like to be able to hear Bernie's segment if that will be available later? and if it will be, can keep those posted on this site?
Thanks in advance.

(34,120 posts)head out to clean the horse barn stalls (I am watching 1/2 hour behind). In the dark. MUCH better than listening to Hillary. I used to listen but since I learned she will sell out all or any of us I am pretty much not interested. I have no time to listen to her anymore, the only truth there is what you hear at that moment because then she feels it because that is what she needs at that moment. Blech, no thanks.
I loathe dishonesty and dishonest people.

(31,935 posts)does anyone else get that vibe? Maybe it's the coldness, or the smug arrogance, or that sideways glade that looks like she's hiding something and thinks no one will ever find out what it is. It's just slimy!
Hell Hath No Fury
(16,327 posts)That is her astrological sign, Scorpio. She is classic -- very secretive, does not like to expose her vulnerabilities, likes to strike out at her enemies.
Lorien
(31,935 posts)I've never gotten along with a Scorpio, either. I had an assistant once for several years who was a slimy underhanded bastard who would have sold his own mother to advance within the company we worked for. He was a Scorpio; ruthless and always up to no good!

(2,760 posts)There is the low road of the scorpion and the high road of the eagle. I'm a Scorpio and was told all my life it was up to me to chose the right arc of the sign. It can be a difficult sun sign to deal with, but my Sagittarius rising helped to balance things out.
Lorien
(31,935 posts)Aries (Sag rising here too). I read somewhere that the various consistencies in astrological signs are due to the amount of sunlight the mother received while pregnant. Kind of makes sense, since vitamin D plays such an important role in mood and energy levels.

(5,400 posts)Her fans in the audience are lapping it up, but I think the electorate isn't all that impressed. And when they look at her multitude of issues, especially her refusal once again to release her transcripts, they'll reject her for being too closely tied to the elite.

(21,046 posts)I am tired of Bill and Hillary. Voted for Bill twice. Saw both of them campaigning way back in 1992. They talked like liberals but sure didn't act like it. Used to respect them. As Michael Moore said, "Bill Clinton is the best moderate Republican President we've had in a long time.
I will listen to Bernie any time I can, but will never listen to Bill or Hillary again. That's what's changed in 24 years. The Clintons are rich and just as bought off as any corporate Republican, but better on social issues. Which is not enough for a third-generation liberal Democrat like me.
I still want my single-payer health care. I make too much money to be on Medicaid and I'm not old enough for Medicare. I am in an HMO as of this year. Not great, but it sure beats being uninsured for the last ten years.
I got a statement from BCBS saying that my new doctor charged almost $5,000 just for some routine blood tests.

(9,865 posts)I'm exhausted by the Clintons. Can't watch her anymore at all.
She was the only candidate up there tonight who got booed when she again tried to smear Bernie as "not a democrat". She has no idea how that sours people on her.
Manifestor_of_Light
(21,046 posts)I never thought I would get sick of looking at Democrats that seemed to be far smarter and more knowledgeable than any Republicans. But I did. I think Bill got forgiven for a lot of things because when he burst on the scene in 1992, he was young, good-looking, smart as hell and had the most unbelievable charisma I have ever seen in a person. I swear he had a force field around him.
When I saw him campaigning in 1992, I turned into a blubbering idiot who could barely speak. There were a few million other women that had the same reaction. But now we know how rich they are, and Bill has gotten old, and it just seems like now they run on greed and entitlement.

release her transcripts regardless of what any one else does.
She said she'd do it after all the other candidates release theirs.
WTF?
Where is the leadership? Why does it matter what others do? Where's her own inner rudder?
