Bernie on minimum wage! and WS speculation tax

when bernie is asked about the minimum wage raising prices he should remind people that since the minimum wage was enacted in 1935, it's been raised about 30 times and never accompanied by a raise in the CPI!

Its a myth that businesses cant support a raise in the minimum wage!

tax breaks to the wealthiest do not trickle down to the middle-class and poorest individuals, rather, that money gets stowed in offshore tax havens or gambled in the wall street casino where gains are barely taxed.

also when he is asked about his speculation tax, could he remind people of the stabilization this would bring to the exchange markets, lowering the chances of crashes and bank runs!

there are so many obvious examples of how his policies would help the economy that I think bernie need to articulate better to the american people!

it can be difficult to articulate ones position, when the populace is so dumbed down by 30 second sound bites and oft repeated buzzwords.

The amount of americans who vote republican and against their own interests. It just baffles me how the country's populace can essentially be split between republicans and democrats.

Texas was the proving ground. I watched in horror as the bible thumpers slowly took over the local school boards and city councils.

Too many didn't see the harm. After all, they were good church going people, "just like me".

For what it's worth, I'm not the me in that quotation.
