1. My biggest fear is based in 45 years of political

activism is watching people fold up their tent and go home as soon as they discover they have to get out and work to help their candidate. It happens all the time.

There is absolutely no way to build a fire under supporters who have no interest in working...they have to build their own fire.

And of course, the biggest thing of all....vote. Bernie had over 3,000 at his last NV rally and got less than 5,000 votes from THE ENTIRE state?!?!

2. Those aren't raw votes...they are pledged state convention delegates...

80,000 people turned out for the caucuses, so if the results have any relation to the popular vote, Bernie would have taken at least 39,000 of those votes(it's possible he could actually be ahead in the raw vote totals, which seems at least likely in Iowa as well).

3. I think we should work on messaging

Remember you don't win by having better arguments. You win by controlling which issues are part of the conversation. The Clinton campaign understands this. We shouldn't allow the other side to choose the terms of the debate. Don't get caught always playing defense.

4. OK...how would you suggest we do that?

What changes on messaging do we need to make?

Especially in terms of reaching the POC voters who are backing HRC even though she hasn't been there for tgem?

5. I think the election should be a referendum on whether Hillary Clinton can be trusted

And we should raise all the true and relevant facts about that issue.

With people of color voters I think the best thing is just put the message out there, the true facts about the issue, and if they like it cool, if not oh well then we lose. People definitely don't respond to a heavy-handed or aggressive sales pitches. I wouldn't try to convince people. That doesn't work. Just say why we support Bernie or true facts about Hillary, but not like trying to aggressively persuade.

6. I've heard they don't like Bernie's vocal delivery-that supposedly it scares some of them.

I'd advise him to switch to a more conversational tone for SC and have small meetings in the black community.

7. I think he should talk about child care a lot in South Carolina

A lot of people in South Carolina are struggling to find a safe child care at a price they can afford. Bernie wants to tax billionaires and pay for child care for everyone.

I think he should keep talking about that.

He was never weak on anti-racism, and here is his chance to show that.

go to Colorado Springs and canvass. Guessing it will Friday since they need people in Colorado.

Any Du'er's thinking of making similar trip?

They promised me accommodations so that makes it better.

I think Colorado is much nicer than Tx.

And BTW, was also told by our organizer that Hills opened her only office in Austin. Thought is Bernie has good shot at winning Texas because he apparently has been on the ground there awhile.

Big state=big delegates.

13. Something is going to have to break from the Bernie Campaign.

I hope they are thinking along those lines tonite.

We know we will lose SC, hopefully we can close the margin (she's up by like 50 pts or something - ouch!)

But on Super Tuesday - we have a chance if we play our cards right.

Something needs to change. We are fighting against a very powerful political dynasty & their corporate sponsors & the DNC!
Bernie is wonderful but he's not superman
