I'm really bothered -

by this NV result. I keep logging off and then logging back on. It's way past my bedtime and this accomplishes NOTHING - except the more I read comments from Her side, the more bitter and angry at them I get. It might not go away either.

Somehow - and I don't know how - we have got to get a message to his campaign about how fed up we are with what is going on and the lies that are being flung at us.

We need to band together on this. We are a movement.

I have been a political junkie since the 70s and I have never been more disgusted, more angry than I am today.
I cannot believe what transpired. This cannot stand. Between this and the Jonathan Capehart crap.

Anyone have any ideas how to get our message to the campaign? They need to hear from their supporters.
I bet anything they have no idea what is going on.

Or so I've been told. If Bernie can say he got a huge chunk of money the 24 hrs after NV that will help. So far this campaign, every shitty Hillary move has been met with a wall of Bernie cash. The "Can you hear us now" effect works.

I know what Bernie would tell me anyway if I complained about some Rovian trick or other. He'd tell me to give him more money and spread the message. Forget the tricks. Debunk them and show the scum for what they are, but don't obsess; rather, quickly pivot to what Bernie and a fundamental change in US politics could do for regular people and their kids.

Hillary is playing patty-cake compared to what is in store when Bernie wins the nom.

would be where he is now last august I'd have laughed. I expected a principled debate from him on the issues and then obscurity. 4 million donations(100m or so) and counting and he is doing fine. I don't plan on just going away and letting the party be forever corporate controlled. I'm in this for the long haul.

Rather than worry about 5 pts in NV, I'm counting my blessings. One half of the Clinton/Bush oligarchy is crying in their beer tonight. That is good news. Our dollars are scaring the living shit out of the party hacks. That is also good news.

People love an underdog and if Bernie had squeaked out a 1 pt win they would have called him the front-runner going into SC which he will do 40% maybe? That might have killed him. Let them play the "between SC and Super Tues Bernie will be done for" card all they want. He just has to follow Obama's strategy. Keep going, keep talking about the vision, keep fighting the good fight. His message has traction and when we get to the deep blue states Hillary is gonna take a beating if we just don't give up.

I'll admit I also had a momentary sad today but it was only when Bernie people kept clogging up Actblue with their donations and it made mine take a long time to process.

It is bigger and better than I thought possible.

He keeps gaining support and there is still a path to victory.

And it gets even better - Many win on there second try - If she wins and gets nothing done (very likely) Sanders takes her second term.

The future looks much better.

a state Dem party that didn't even have translators at precincts where there were lots of Spanish speakers. A caucus process that did not allow many union people to stay long enough to be counted because they had to get back to work within 1.5 hours.

Things weren't going so well for our side against the Tories, to put it mildly. But, the patriots stuck it out. Their faith and persistence paid off.

We, on Bernie's side, are going to take a big hit on Super Tuesday. The deck is stacked for the more conservative candidate. Funny how the powers that be set that up! Anyway, that's when things will look the bleakest. That's when we'll be tempted to accept defeat. But, if we can come out of that still fighting, the tables will start to turn. Then we start hitting blue state primaries where Hillary's liabilities come into play big time.

There WILL be cheating and shenanigans. At least with the caucus states, we get a change to SEE it, and to complain about it, maybe even get a bit of it fixed.

When we get to primaries, we can be suspicious of voting totals, but how are we going to actually PROVE most of the cheating?

Sun Feb 21, 2016, 07:52 PM
Feb 2016

we wouldn't be having this problem. Basically that's the bottom line.
I just watched a well attended rally in South Carolina how many of those
people are going to show for Bernie? I wonder if he feels he's failing
in some respects because the masses aren't doing their part? He can't seem
to get through to them how important these issues are. They whoop and
holler at the rallys and then are no shows when it's time to stand up for Bernie.
