Related: About this forumRe: My "Bothered" OP -
Thank you all but - I've gotta try to stay away from this for a couple of days. (Ha)
Unless there is a way to log on without seeing the Home Page - where this a.m. this hit my eyes -
I wasn't trying to look at anything there and
nevertheless I see a Camp Weathervane claim that BERNIE APPEARS TO BECONCEDING SC!
I AM SO FED UP WITH THIS SHIT!!!! (maybe most of them are DLC plants?)

(2,379 posts)Instead of making the home page your bookmark for DU, try bookmarking the LATEST THREADS page or even the BERNIE GROUP for the time being. Click on that bookmark and then log in. When you log in, you land on whatever page your were on before you logged in.
I've always used the LATEST THREADS page as my DU bookmark, not just during primary season.

(2,379 posts)How do you find websites that you frequent? Do you have a list of favorites in your browser?
You would go to the LATEST THREADS or the BERNIE GROUP page and then do whatever you do to add a site to your "favorite websites" list. On Macs, I think they refer to bookmarks/favorites as "widgets" (??? - not sure).

(14,691 posts)never made anything a favorite - I just clicked around on Firefox and figured it out - added Bernie Sanders Group. Thanks!
This has the special extra advantage of not having to see posts from people I have on ignore.

On my phone, I a tile for this forum and GDPee, so I can go directly to either one.
I NEVER, EVER EVER go to the DU home page and will avoid GDP from now on until Bernie wins somewhere.

(4,805 posts)I like how dismissive they are to all that Bernie wants to accomplish.
I like how easily they give up without a fight.
I like how submissive they are to they way things are so they must stay the way they are because ...
scary.
big boogey man.

(2,522 posts)When the Watergate Plumbers were questioned about their motives, the first one out was each one claimed he thought it of 'utmost importance' the President be re-elected. The uber-patriot defense.

(2,965 posts)are not conceding South Carolina. If I can be so bold as to speak for the rest of them. You can bet on that. And from what I heard at the Greenville office there is a tidal wave of supporters coming from out of state to help get out the vote.

(113,082 posts)Most everyone I know is a Sanders supporter, especially here in NC. Those heavily involved with party efforts will join with either camp in the general. But, for now, Bernie camp and Hillary camp here have been pretty darn respectful of each other (though, so far, it appears that Sanders has the majority in our area). I think the sense of camaraderie runs deep due to our 2 years of Moral Mondays protests and because the stakes are so high here in our very purple state that has been heavily gerrymandered to solid red.
When you see the campaign from a purple state POV where GOTV is crucial, you become more tolerant of those with primary campaign goals different from yours. I offer that just as a way of easing your outlook. I'd say the same in the HRC group, but, they were so sensitive to my common sense offerings that they blocked me early in the campaign.
Oh well.
