All of Bernie's worst states are in the first half of the primary

Keep that in mind from now through March 15.

Mid March marks the halfway point. All his worst states, which are the former confederate states except for Kentucky, are in the first half. Only DC looks to be strongly Hillary after that.

thinking I'd be home by xmas.

This is gonna be a long bloody war for the heart of the party. As another posted noted the other day: All that dry powder the do-nothing dems have been saving is being used on us. We cannot let Shillary win or we won't see anything progressive for decades. The banksters who own her are already dictating her campaign moves, just wait until they own the whole govt lock stock and barrel and don't even have to try to hide it.

I've been trying to keep my donations to once a week but with this dark time coming up, I'm going to escalate up to every other day until I'm either too hungry to continue, or Hillary or Bernie suspends. Even an asshole like Trump is promising to do the right thing and stop the H1-b insanity until US kids with science degrees, 75% of them NOT working in their field, find jobs. Our Lady of Outsourcing, the Duchess of Duplicity, the self-named "Senator from Punjab" will never see a dime or a vote from me.

I doubt she will be able to bring people like me "to heel". I wonder if she knew that phrase came from the slave days when she said it.

bring to heel
Force to obey, subjugate. For example, The prisoners were quickly brought to heel. This term transfers commanding a dog to come close behind its master to similar control over human beings or affairs. (Second half of 1800s)

Pressure of course to eliminate him to ensure that the corporatocracy wins.

I suppose they will keep on saying it until some really blue states weigh in.

Any chance the DNC purposely stacked the contests with states they knew would likely go for Hillary in the early part of the primaries to knock out any potential grass-roots candidate?

...a better question is why does the Democratic Party allow southern states to have more of a say in the nomination process? California at the very end is bizarre. I understand why the GOP wants the southern states to have a big say early on. That's their core support in the general election.
