While I don't agree that Clinton is the better choice for anyone (except GOP moderates) there are some good points made here:

(3,623 posts)...we have documented evidence of the Clintons enacting policies that hurt POC. If they don't trust Sanders, fair enough. Don't blame him though when you vote for the Devil You Know and it turns out just as bad as it has for the last 20 years.

(47,953 posts)It should not come as any surprise that other voting blocs can be deluded into voting against their own self interest. Especially if some of their leaders can be bought off.

All these discussions on our institutional racism will disappear once the two nominees are clear. For sure. Will we keep the cause alive regardless? Obama didn't keep OFA, will we do better this time, or will it be the last time?
I think under Bernie the country can do better, but I see and understand the other point of view.

What to say to help Sanders get the black vote. Step one: Please do not say that.
Chock-full of good advice.

(13,685 posts)Bernie is just too good to be true,
And
He's a white guy. White guys don't deserve a lot of trust when it comes to race.
But the more anybody learns about Bernie, the more they like and trust him.
