The Clinton campaign staff devoutly believes you cannot underestimate the intelligence of the American voter.

Clinton's campaign staff DROVE 'ordinary' Iowans to Hillary's first campaign stop - including health care 'lobbyist in training' who was an Obama campaign intern and Biden chauffeur

Austin Bird sat for coffee on Tuesday morning in the town of LeClaire, Iowa, chatting with Hillary Clinton as photographers snapped pictures
News reports called him a 'student' and her campaign called it an unscripted event
But Clinton's Iowa political director Troy Price drove Bird and two other people to the coffee house
Bird is a hospital government relations official who interned with Barack Obama's 2012 presidential campaign
The Iowa Democratic Party, which Price ran until a month ago, tasked him to be Joe Biden's driver during an October Senate campaign trip in Davenport.

Any more than I'd go to Breitbart for facts.

That's what I'm saying. If you want to use Michelle Malkin's site as a source, I think you're doing yourself, and the site, a disservice. Surely there aren't extreme right wing sites that can be used to prove the same exact point?

Sat Jun 13, 2015, 06:39 AM

if you "love" any political candidate. Why would you even say you "love" a political candidate? That's in the realm of a teenage crush on a celebrity. And you know, since you told me to show some class, I suggest that crushing on a politician is neither mature nor classy. So I reply to you that it's time to show some maturity, face the facts of HRC's staged "listening" tour, and reply with some defense of the staging - if you can come up with one.

Further, reporting facts about a candidate is not "denigrating" them. That would happen if I attacked her reputation by defaming her, which would involve the legal actions constituting slander or libel, i.e., stating an untruth damaging to her reputation. I learned about that way back in law school. Sadly, we did not have a class in, nor did the bar exam test on "showing some class". In this primary season, supporting Bernie involves convincing undecided voters that Bernie is a superior candidate, as well as convincing present HRC supporters of that fact as well. That includes publicizing inconvenient truths about her staged listening tour.

We're not debating anything related to "class" here. I'm not challenging her wardrobe or hairstyling choices - I'm pointing out that it is reported in international press (link to UK paper above) and in the Iowa press that she staged her meet and greet tour, replacing ostensible everyday citizens with her own campaign workers and a county Democratic party chairwoman, president of a college young dems group, executive with a planned parenthood group, etc. In Iowa, former Woodbury County Democratic Party Chairman Al Sturgeon — derided those stops where she met only a few people at businesses and colleges as staged.
