Bernie Sanders

Sadly I work for a federal contractor which means I can't donate directly to campaigns.
I can however, buy swag from a campaign store because that's not a donation.
So, I did. I hope the profit margin on swag is very high. I can't wait to pass out the t-shirts and bumper stickers I bought.
Why aren't they here yet!

(41,132 posts)when Bernie's announcement came out which shows his popularity. Unlike items from retailers we ordered at the same time, that arrived last week, a campaign has many more matters to focus on I figure. Hang in there and let us know. Yesterday we ordered more- a yard sign and some stickers, can't wait.
(I hope their mark up is high too, so most goes to the campaign effort).
We ordered some small things from democraticstuff.com, and redbubble.com so that's helped.

It did have a really cool mini clothespin on one of the tags.

(36,470 posts)I had to wash it before I'd wear it. I did like the little clothespin, though.

(41,132 posts)Redbubble focuses on design and art which is great; the construction for the shirt & tote I ordered isn't first rate but that's ok. The small black tote has a terrific image of him and 'Bernie 2016' printed in red & blue colors.

(8,846 posts)I ordered shirts, bumper stickers. and coffee mugs.
They said there was a 15 day back order on the mugs, so they should be about ready to ship.

(41,132 posts)up the large yard sign we ordered yesterday when it's here. That will get plenty of looks I'm sure.

(32,062 posts)and also bought the Vermont Teddy Bear in support! My kids love it ...
Next is the campaign store. I'd love a tank top, but t-shirts are good too. I've just learned in another thread that Texas is part of the super Tuesday - 3/1/16. I have work to do.

(1,186 posts)It took about 12 to 14 days. Really high quality union made in the USA shirt. Worth the wait.

As long as you are using your salary and not a part of the contract fee, you are fine.

However I don't know who is doing this and whether any of the proceeds go to Bernie's campaign. But they are cute:

(18,791 posts)They have used that dog for years as a T model.
My jaw almost hit the floor the first time I saw him (or her)...it's absolutely identical to our dog! That look (attitude!)...ears...color...a twin!
In the past, I've ordered some various items from CafePress and always got high quality products...had one slight issue with a baseball cap once and it got replaced in a heartbeat!
Money is probably going to the vendor but if people get into a panic or rush, it may be a source for a Bernie shirt.

(3 posts)OK this is my 1st post...
Just asking supporters to wake up.
If you want to support Bernie go to the campaigns official store.
Bernie gets some of the money for his campaign.
If you are supporting Hillary Swap Meets, Street Vendors or Tee Shirt Hawkers are OK.
Some of the money they make will go to her free trade friends.
