***Update***
I finished the bracelet!
I'm going to give it away to someone here so keep on the lookout out for the give-away thread.

Check out this bracelet I'm making on my bead loom.

(2,166 posts)I want one!
Can you make more and sell them? You could give a portion of it to the campaign!

(3,469 posts)I need more beads. I wasn't crazy about the background color but it was the only color I was sure I had enough of. I want to use a brighter blue and maybe some other bright colors for backgrounds. It's slow going. I've been working on that top bracelet in the picture for months now. The Bernie one is going quicker though because it's thinner.
I may give this one away when I'm finished so keep checking back for the give-away thread. I'll call it the Bead the Bern Giveaway.

(11,366 posts)I have an Amazon prime account, I could chip in for a few and have them shipped to you.
I just tried to find the campaign's color palette, but couldn't find it. I'm sure it's got to be available somewhere because people have been making fan-made art all over the place. That would give you a better idea of the color blue he uses.
Heck, someone here may know.

(3,469 posts)I didn't mean to imply I couldn't afford beads. I'm just traveling and can't get mail regularly and I special order these beads-they're not typical seed beads, they're a special bead called delicas that are more uniform for loom work. I can place an order and get it shipped to the post office by General Delivery, I just need to get on it.
The color on his bumper stickers is usually a very bright/light blue but I think the background could really be any bright color or even a rainbow.

(11,366 posts)And I really like the other bracelet you're working on in the top pic. I like doing the string bracelets - I find it kind of addicting in a soothing way. My daughter makes bracelets out of little rubber bands, too. We're kind of arty/crafty around here, too. My daughter is right now drawing and cutting out characters she's "developing" for a story book she's making up.
I may even try to bead. I suppose you can get a beading loom from a craft store or on Amazon. It looks like fun!

(1,014 posts)just to tell you how gorgeous your work is! I'm a bead worker too, though I use off-loom stitches, so I understand the time and effort that goes into making art like this. Love your Bernie, and the Catrina in the background is stunning as well.

I want to make a hat band.

(3,469 posts)I mostly just played around with a piece of graph paper until I got it right. The hair was tricky because of the square grid-he kept looking like a martian.

(3,469 posts)It has been taking me longer lately because my eyesight isn't as good as it use to be. I think I need new glasses because I've been struggling a bit with this and I never use to have problems. This has taken me a few days just because I need lots of breaks.
