BOOM: NH Poll - Bernie is gaining like a freight train!!!!!

http://morningconsult.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/150502_crosstabs_mc_NH_v1_AD.pdf

Here is a link to the full document and I hope we can analyze this. I do know that this includes not just Democrats. But lookee here!

Table F7A: If the New Hampshire Democratic presidential primary were held today and the candidates were Joseph Biden, Lincoln Chafee, Hillary Clinton, Martin O’Malley, Bernie Sanders, and Jim Webb, for whom would you vote? (Among respondents who said they would vote in the Democratic primary)

Clinton 44%
O'Malley 2%
Biden 8%
Don't Know 11%

Bernie Sanders 32%

How you like that??

Jun 2015

It was about 5500 verses 5000 at Burlington.

What did you say, NYC has a population of about 8 million and Burlington has about 14 thousand. It doesn't matter that the crowd in Burlington represents about 1/3 of the town and in NYC it was about .7% of the population. That doesn't matter one bit!

Uh huh!

Reports mentioned people in the crowd from many different states - we know of at least 2 who were already committed to HRC who drove in from the capitol. And still, the overflow area was largely empty. If we had the stats on how many were locals? Pretty weak turnout!

....other web sites, such as Huffpo, are saying many of the things we read hear---they do not trust or like Hillary and are excited about Bernie.

Hillary-supporters and Dems in general ignore her negatives at their peril. And ours. They need to take the dissent seriously. It's not just DU. But even when it happens on DU--they need to not just dismiss it in a huff. We are loyal Democrats who are very engaged. There's a reason we are upset about Hillary---the powers that be need to pay attention to that reason.

We Dems need to not run a candidate who is going to suppress the Democratic vote.

I see nothing exciting or trustable about Hillary and will work to find a real alternative to the horrors of a Repug.

If it came down to just Clinton vs Sanders, some of the O'Malley votes would presumably go to Sanders (as another "not Hillary" option), while some would probably go to Clinton (who may be more similar to O'Malley than Sanders is). So you can't really "assign" people's fallbacks without that being something they were asked about.

Still, at this point, even just 32% is darn impressive for a candidacy that came from nothing and many people weren't taking seriously!

Independents are not going to vote for the establishment candidate, many are former Dems already disgusted with the status quo. So Bernie is likely to get that huge vote, bigger than either party now. Even some of the Republican/Independents who are also disgusted with their party.

So winning primaries will give the crowd who says, "I would love to vote for Bernie, but he can't win" permission to vote for him. That's why the bumper sticker saying, Vote for Bernie You Know You Wanna, is prescient. The posts all over the internet show that DU is actually rather reflective of the tenor of voters. Quite shockingly.
