Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumQuestion about voting for Bernie in MI primary tomorrow
My son & I will happily be voting for Bernie in the MI primary tomorrow.
However, we just discovered today that my daughter is somehow NOT registered to vote (according to the online registration search: https://webapps.sos.state.mi.us/MVIC/votersearch.aspx). This is despite her registering for the first time at a campus event at her college last fall. She doesn't recall getting the MI voter ID card in the mail either.
I was going to recommend she go to her poll anyway to see if somehow she is registered despite the web search failure. But here's the catch: there does not seem to be any way to find your polling place if you don't pass the above registration test!
I've searched & searched, and found no list of polling places in Oakland County. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Edit:
Just found this: https://www.oakgov.com/clerkrod/elections/Documents/polling_locations_03082016.pdf (via: https://www.oakgov.com/clerkrod/elections)
... which presumably, along with the district maps above, will help us identify the correct location. But in Michigan, if you go to the wrong polling place, can they still confirm your registration, and possibly direct you to the correct location?

(50,130 posts)I would contact your local Bernie office if you can. If it's happening to you, it's likely happening to other people.
You also might contact sympathetic media.
