(6,282 posts)he was quick to point out their successes. He isn't impressed so much by ideas, but the capability to persuade and win.

(24,411 posts)His show on Bloomberg, "With All Due Respect" is fair, professional and informative. I don't always agree with everything that he and Heilemann have to say, but they are measured commentators.
I'm glad to see these high marks from him.
And I agree!

(1,898 posts)He and Heilman did MAJOR coverage of Bernie around the time that WADR went to the 60-minute format. Mark and John are helpful in measuring a candidate's current momentum.

The room was packed and it was a very lively rally with nearly 1,000 supporters. I'm sure they had to have been intrigued, because Clinton's rallies were much smaller.
Halperin was also present in a small classroom when precinct captains met with Bernie. I think they were looking for interesting stories from us. We thought we were getting a pep talk from Bernie, but he walked in the room and said, "Ok, you've heard me speak enough, I want to hear what you have to say. How's it going out there?"
VERY COOL. Still smitten!
