My Republican, Fox News watching, 80+ year old MIL will be voting for Bernie in Florida!

She's embarrassed of the Republican nominees and told us she will be voting for Bernie because "he makes the most sense."

My mother-in-law is a retired teacher from Long Island, NY. I wish my father-in-law had lived to see this day.

Edited to add: I never thought I'd see the day she would vote for a Democrat.

He has always been a R. Never heard him say a single good thing about any Democrat.

Last night on facebook (we live several States apart) he was posting pro Bernie articles and dumping on Trump.

Absolutely floored.

I really want your people to vote Sanders but we have a closed primary in Florida. Did they change their party affiliation before the 30-day threshold? (fingers crossed)

I would think she knows that because she's active in the community.
