I look at those early photos of him at the sit-in, getting arrested, and I think "I know that guy. I've known just such passionate, idealistic, committed guys. He's one."

I listen to his speeches and I know who he is... the same dedicated, uncompromised (not the same as uncompromising), upright, inclusive, plainly honest guy he's always been.

Then we have Hillary with this astonishing statement: "Look, I have said before and it won't surprise anybody to hear me say it, this is not easy for me. It's not easy to do what I think is right, to help people, to even the odds, to hear a story like the woman's story we just heard."

I can't imagine Bernie ever saying it's hard for him to do what is right! For him, there is no other way.

Bernie knows who he is. Maybe that's why I feel like I know him.

What a lovely way to put it.

What a wonderful human being.

That's my way of letting him know that I want him to continue.
