Bernie's Army Running for Congress

One more post! Then I'll stop (for now)

Someone earlier today was asking about people who are running for congress with the same progressive/Democratic socialist views as Bernie. Here are a few and I would suggest that people add to that list here so that others will know of them.

https://newrepublic.com/article/129047/bernies-army-running-congress

Zephyr Teachout is running for Congress upstate in the 19th Congressional District

John Fetterman - in Pennsylvania, an underdog in the Democratic primary against 2010 Senate nominee Joe Sestak and Katie McGinty, former chief of staff to Governor Tom Wolf

Lucy Flores, a candidate for Nevada’s 4th Congressional District, currently held by Republican Cresent Hardy

Tim Canova - the Federal Reserve expert challenging DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz in a House primary in Florida

Debbie Medina is in the race for State Senate in New York’s 18th District.

Dave McTeague for Oregon's 5th congressional district at http://mcteagueforcongress.com/

I know that there are more and I forgot to capture the names of some that I saw on twitter. I will add them as soon as I find them again!

lol..

but I think having many state and local politicians who are progressive can only improve areas like education, housing, crime, outreach to people in need, jobs/employment, etc.

13. Absolutely. So much happens at the local level. It'd just be great if there were a whole tide

I completely agree. And WHEN Bernie gets the nomination he will need a lot of help so these folks need to be elected into office.
