California voters discovering they are kicked off the voting database. After Thom reported this a listener called and said after hearing what he reported she decided to check even though she has been a dem voter for 40 years. To her surprise, her registration is nowhere to be found.
Please check your registration.

-WHY Is Voting in the Primaries Important?-
>In recent elections, voter turnout for primaries has been abysmal many states had fewer than 10% of eligible voters participate, compared to around 60% in the General Election. Because voter turnout in primaries is so low, your vote matters even more!
And remember this: Primaries are Bernie vs. Hillary, not Bernie vs. Trump! Primaries are between candidates of the same party, unlike in the General Election. The winner of the Democratic Primary is nominated by the Democratic Party to go head-to-head against the winner of the Republican Primary.
Dont get me wrong, voting in the General Election is still very important, and if Bernie wins the Primary Election, youll need to vote for him again on November 8th for the General Election, but in this particular instance, the Primary Election is even more important! If Bernie does not win the Democratic Primary Election, you cant vote for him in the General Election! And that would be bad, because it could mean the Presidency going to the GOP.
>Bernie already polls well against GOP candidates even better than Hillary but Hillary has the deck stacked in her favor, and the only way for a candidate like Bernie to win the primary is MASSIVE VOTER TURNOUT. Continued...

(4,695 posts)in Texas to suppress my vote in upcoming local elections and the GE in November. How about all the folks that are not hearing about this as I have not seen anything about Arizona even on the big corporate TV stations.
Texas is an extremist, Tea government state. The TX Primary was March 2.

(1,217 posts)had been removed from the rolls. Also--voters from IL, OR and MA to add to the lists. I suspect it is MORE than one group doing this--Thom seems to want to blame Chris Kobach (KS Secy of State) for removing Dems from the rolls. That doesn't make sense because the R's are not THAT stupid. They would wait until after primary season if they wanted to disenfranchise Dems--not before the primaries where the disenfranchisement would be discovered.

Democrats use to be of and for the people those days appear to be almost over, I feel that Bernie is our only hope of getting the party back to its FDR roots.
