The media does not fear us

The reason the media caters to our opposition is because the media fears the Trumpsters and the establishment.

The media does not fear us; the progressive, left side of the American politics because we are tolerant, understanding, and all around nice people that society has always taken advantage of in its pursuit of money and power.

We on the left don't place power and riches above all else like the establishment does. We are more concerned with justice and peace and getting along with our brothers and sisters.

Some media does pay us attention, but let's face the facts: when individual members of the media do write about us in glowing terms, they are called wimps, commies and the ultimate dirty word: Liberals. Then they are fired.

Still, we are winning. Slowly but surely, we are winning. Bernie's progress is a sign of our success. And we are winning because it is the right thing, the right way to go about making a more perfect union and keeping the American dream of justice for all and freedom for all alive and well in this great country.

So keep plugging, keep the faith, and keep strong. And keep telling the media to play fair and keep our message on air and in the press.

we are as passionate if not more so than the crazy right that supports trump.

only difference is, we're compassionate and not filled with hate. therefore, to the media, we can be dealt with later. sigh.

Besides we make many uncomfortable by telling the truth so much. The media members, when tell the truth, get dumped on. Dan Rather is a fine example of getting dumped on.

I think they are afraid we will continue to expose their true agenda of 'profit first'. Most people don't know just how far it goes, the bias. They trust their filters, which sometimes are good, but not always. We progressives don't follow their script so they ignore us as much as they can, and if the bulk of the population were to realize the level of corruption there actually is... who the hell knows? Could they adapt? I hope they could recover but I don't see how. I like the media, I want them to be successful. But I want them to be honest too, I want to trust them.

If by fear us, you mean respect us, then you're right, they don't respect us at all.

I will keep right on calling things as I see them and backing the journalists that are brave enough to do so as well.

Keeping faith here. Always.

Several years ago I cut the cord with cable, satellite.. I ended the abuse of the bullshit from these ass clowns who call themselves news commentators, reporters and the like. There was a time I was hooked on MSNBC Keith Olberman, and Rachel Maddow when she first came on the air.

But then Keith was fired and it didn't take too long before Rachel's stupid silly schtick just got really old, really fast. and that was Years ago.

tonight I see on DU a bunch of Rachel posts, naturally I'm curious and what I'm reading from posters are either expressions of sheer joy or rage and anger.

Same ole crap.

And don't even get me started with Anderson Cooper! LOL.

This is a great poster btw.

now that I have turned off MSNBC.

Between twitter, facebook, and yes CNN I have found out there is a whole world out there that has nothing to do with Donald Trump.

I threw out my TV in the 80s rather than subscribe to pay TV as we
called it then. But still had radio stations local and NPR. Then DSL
came along and I could watch msm if I wanted. Well now no more.
I also understand why the Clintons are so disliked. I understand more
than ever how big corps control the narrative and our lives if we let them.
Their insulting arrogance is just breath taking.

I am at a loss to remember any of the major issues the media has covered. Not the wars, not health care, nor education or the environment.

The media is falling down and should be ashamed. They take all this advertising money and then refuse to cover the issues that are important for the People they are supposed to serve.

are weak. In the post-JFK world, the PTB don't want popular Presidents, they want even splits. They want politicians who need as much of their media help as possible. They want dependency on them and their systems.

As Sanders succeeds in building a movement without the MSM they have much to fear. They slide into irrelevance and their value continues to decrease.

The Washington Post's Paul Farhi sees a grim future for the industry. He argues that cable news is pretty much where newspapers were a decade ago: Their audience is aging, their medium is being disrupted by new technologies, and the next generation of viewers is developing habits and preferences that they're poorly placed to serve.

Our issues would be front and center.

The issues they do have front and center are the wars, the republicans, Israel and the like.

They do need to fear us, maybe the better term is respect us, since we have the power and in wielding that power means their revenue streams are decreasing as we turn to alternatives.

The problem for the media is they cater to the elites who need us divided and fighting ourselves rather than the PTB. Slowly we are casting off the shackles of domination via the open internet.
