Has anyone received a response to signing up as volunteers for Bernie?

I live in Connecticut and responded to Sanders volunteer email. You can
apply for different types of work, and I asked if they were looking
for volunteers to record and transcribe his events.

I have not received any reply..it may be that they're overwhelmed with
requests?

And I am sure they are overwhelmed with volunteers. A couple thousand signed up in Minneapolis alone.

locally? This is not going to be a campaign with a lot of paid organizers. We need to step up and get it.

to get a sense of where they're going with organizing.

But you're right, this campaign is different, so we'll need to adjust accordingly.

I hope they can because hundreds of thousands have signed up and apparently at every one of his appearances, thousands more do. He's got so many volunteers, they don't know what to do. Not a bad thing I guess. The big orgs like Moveon could help with structure if they get off their duffs and endorse him.

How I (sort of) got involved was this...Signed up as you did. Then the week before he was making an appearance in Keene, NH, I got a phone call telling me about his appearance....The event was also published in the paper.

When I got around to going to the event, I got there an hour early...and just stood around trying to be helpful....There were around a dozen of people there like me. A bunch of us ended up signing people in at Bernie's town hall. When I left, I told them not to forget me.....

I think it is recognized that they are overwhelmed with volunteers, one has to beg for even menial jobs, etc., and it's a matter of being there at the right time.

with PDA to help organize for Bernie.
Don't forget they were the ones pushing him
hardest to run.

You may contact them in CT, because they are
trying to use the 50 states strategy.
