gun violence took my neice's life but I support Bernie and his views on guns.

Get rid of the damn guns! Assault weapons need to be banned. Handguns should be tightly regulated and we shouldn't have so many of them. My guess is that the liability proposal would be in court the minute it's passed and Bernie knows that.

I'm totally sick of using the slain children of Newtown as a political weapon. I don't blame the parents because I know what it is to lose a beloved one to an act of gun violence. My brother collapsed at his daughter's funeral and her sister went into the ministry on account of the murder of her older sibling. It's a terrible thing to happen.

I hope to God that Bernie can show us the way...

Hillary was using Newtown today on Morning Joe and I got to thinking about Bernie's words on guns. I was disappointed that Hillary made it seem that Bernie would not do anything he could to save the children there. It made me mad. So I wrote this. I hope it might be used for a good cause...

Murdered by his ex wife in cold blood after she sat disguised in a rental car while waiting for him to arrive home so she could ambush him.

It never crossed my mind to sue the gun manufacturer.

The surviving sister was supposed to be with her sister that fateful night and backed out at the last minute, preferring to go to a party. Her guilt drove her to the ministry. I talked to her a few months ago. It seems that there were burial plots at a cemetery that were owned by her dad and I found out about them and were worth a nice sum of money. She is the owner now. I like to think that some real good came out of my brother's terrible life. She said she could use the money for her kids college. She and her husband co-pastor a Methodist church in North Carolina. I'm glad she has her strong faith to see her through.

I think it was in a forum.

He wants to get rid of armor piercing bullets.

Close gun-show loophole.

Increase mental health availability and decrease wait times.

Strengthen and enforce instant background checks.

Make straw-man purchase a federal crime.

Ban semi-automatic assault weapons.

I agree with him.

This is not the one I was thinking of, but here is a clip of Bernie on guns from a debate when O'Malley was still around:

has become so politicized. It seems so basic. Stop the selling of high powered Assault/semi/automatic weapons that have NO purpose but to kill people, and highly regulate the selling of all other guns. Why is this so controversial?

people are still suffering every day because of this. I feel the same way about the BLM issues, Flint water crisis... people are suffering terribly and they get pandered too (by almost ALL of the candidates) and then forgotten about later.

This saga was sad...
