Sanders: Clinton should apologize to victims of Iraq War

Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders lashed out at front-runner Hillary Clinton on Wednesday over her support for the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

A CBS reporter tweeted that she asked the Vermont senator about Clinton's calls for him to apologize to Sandy Hook victims because of his stance against holding gun manufacturers liable for gun crimes. Sanders reportedly responded by saying that Clinton should apologize to the victims of the Iraq War, which she voted in favor of as a senator.

and unfounded claim against Sanders in the first place and especially when it illustrates the blindness to faulty decisions of great magnitude that Clinton has made like the Iraq War. It's shocking...

any victims, American, Iraqi or other national?

I don't even want to float the idea that apologizing for a bad war vote is acceptable.

It was a response to Hillary's smear on Bernie asking him to apologize for Sandy Hook victims, which he had nothing to do with. Hillary had something to do with the victims of the Iraq War. He is not suggesting that apologizing would bring them back or make the war right.

even as he gassed the Kurds and Iranians. We should apologize for that too. We also should apologize for supporting the Shah of Iran (Reza Pahlavi) while we are on the subject. Were it not for our support of him Iran would have never become an extreme theocracy.

Actually, I have a list of around 60 countries we have intervened in- its from the excellent book Killing Hope by William Blum, we could and perhaps should apologize to virtually all those countries.

I think doing that would dramatically reduce the risk of terrorism more than any drones ever could.

We should have a moratorium on drones.

He should have never spoken to the New York Daily News editorial board. All the trash covers they have run on Obama suggest that they are far right wing. I would assume they are Hillary haters normally, but then they drop this trash on Bernie. My guess is that David Brock and perhaps some Clinton operatives set the whole thing up.
