(20,234 posts)I think it was just a discussion about DU issues and people, instead of a discussion about the primary candidates or policies,* so GD: P wasn't the right place for it.
*or whether they refer to subway "tokens" or can swipe a subway card on the first attempt - which are apparently key considerations in choosing the next president.

(20,234 posts)But still, it's a better discussion for a group, or general. They're pretty strict about keeping the primary discussion about the primary. So we can start threads in the bernie or hillary group about the other group, about the other supporters, about how the other group annoys us, etc.
Scanning thread titles in the different areas, you can see that the GD- P is mainly for threads about the candidates and including some bill clinton stuff too. The bernie group is mainly for threads about bernie. And the hillary group is mainly for threads about bernie.

(7,886 posts)It's a feature, can comfort people who had their threads locked if you feel it was unjust, or taunt people if you agreed with the lock (Not that I would approve of such a thing...)
