Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumMorning Joe is destroying Obama and his support for Hillary: "The system is rigged"
Obama is CLEARLY manipulating the FBI investigation, by going on TV - twice now - and telling America what the outcome of the investigation will be... and he's undermining Sanders, repeatedly, AND he's lying about both of those things, by saying he'd never dream of doing either.
Pretty gross stuff and sooooooo transparent.
As Joe just said, "this is a rigged system".
"if a reporter passed on classified data on an insecure system, this President would put them in jail"
Mika just said, "The four words of the day?: the system is rigged".
Hey and btw this shit UNDERMINES the down ballot Dems that Hillary supporters are always banging on about... Every single time Hillary or Obama damage that Dem brand - which is almost daily at this point - they hurt other Dems.

(23,664 posts)Those not so subtle hints he keeps dropping are going to blow up in Hillary's face. He's just signaled that he will put the kibosh on the FBI's investigation, which of course will do nothing but reinforce the publics skepticism about Hillary's innocence and the fairness of the process. Obama has now also made himself part of the scandal by becoming part of the coverup.
Or...
Maybe it's some diabolical Machiavellian form of umpteen dimensional chess and he's gonna yank the rug out fro under her when it's too late for her to save her ass. After all the shitty stuff she's pulled on him over the years that would seem appropriate.

(3,343 posts)but not too much hope...
Podesta was working for Bill, then Obama, then Hillary... I doubt Obama is doing anything but trying, and failing, to help her witht he masses...

Mika says, "The system is rigged by the rich and powerful".
They both are asking, "Why do people even bother to vote?"

(1,192 posts)Kucinich ran on Bernie's platform. Not Obama.
MSNBC kicked Kucinich off the debate for a reason.
In a way, we shouldn't even be surprised at how they're treating Bernie.

(3,343 posts)I supported Kucinich hard back then...

(7,869 posts)And before that, Jesse Jackson and Jerry Brown. Voted twice for Bill Clinton with great reluctance.
I've been waiting all my life to vote for a real progressive. Obama is as close as I've been able to come, but I want more.

(199 posts)And how Bernie received 56% of the votes in Wyoming, but received less delegates due to the supers.
Again, he stressed "the system is rigged"
It would be nice knowing that someone on MSNBC believed in what Bernie stood for, and really got it, but I'm afraid they are more concerned in making Hillary look bad.
EdwardBernays
(3,343 posts)in this instance... they're telling the truth about this in a way that needs to be said... and it's welcome.

This is not a good situation.
People deserve honest government. For a change.
Here is a good word to learn - "State capture"
State capture is a type of systemic political corruption in which private interests significantly influence a state's decision-making processes to their own advantage through unobvious channels, that may not be illegal.
