About that New York - Vermont gun meme Hillary is using and MSNBC has been airing all day:

According to ATF statistics, for four years straight not a single Vermont gun ended up in neighboring New York state. Yet during that time, a handful of New York guns made their way across the border to Vermont.

1. Many people read only headlines and titles. (I strongly suspect that is why so many of them are so misleading.)

2. Many people believe the first thing they hear or read and later information that contradicts the first thing they heard or read serves only to reinforce the initial wrong information.

I am constantly amazed to know how many intelligent Democrats who watch the news and read newspapers never heard of the Democratic Leadership Council or Third Way.

We junkies have a very different view than most people in the US. In some other countries, 12 year old kids are talking politics daily. Here, not so much.
