We should hear something soon about the lawsuit. 2pm EST hearing Will Provisionals be counted?

A hearing for the lawsuit took place this morning at 100 Federal Plaza, Central Islip, according to Election Justice USA. We’re keeping this story updated as more information is available. Election Justice USA is hoping the court will open the primary to voters whose registrations were purged.

According to Shyla Nelson of Election Justice USA, they formally served notice to the Board of Elections and the Attorney General. They’re waiting for an Attorney General representative to appear at the court house. They’ve been waiting for quite awhile, and now Election Justice USA asked the judge for immediate summons.

As the wait for someone in the Attorney General’s office to appear in court continues, Shyla Nelson is asking concerned citizens to come to the courthouse and bring their friends (after you’ve voted, of course) at 2 p.m. Directions to the courthouse are here.

A new hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. Eastern today, Jordan Chariton reported. If a judge rules favorably, then all provisional ballots that are cast today would be counted.

primary? A friend just called to say that that was at being announced at 2pm. If the independent and unaffiliated can vote that would add thousands.
