That was in the general election in 2012, my first vote in New York. Every other time I have been right in and out. That is one thing NY seems to do right, at least in Lower Manhattan and on Long Island.

...my small city has around 30,000 people, and there are at least a dozen polling locations. Maricopa County in AZ had one for 25,000 people, if I recall correctly.

line was around the corner. Otherwise I've never had to wait a really long time. 10-15 min. max I think.

but there are bursts, like before work, open to 9am and after work, 5pm on

if they take pictures in the middle of the day there will be very few people in them

I go to a multi precinct location so there were 4 people in my line and like 10 and 12 in others. A GE would be 10 to 30 in each line maybe.
