Here's the HRC strategy now.

Shame Bernie into quitting or backing off by complaining that he is hurting party unity.

I've seen it repeatedly in the last couple of days from surrogates.

Now the MSM has picked it up.

Trying to drive him out.

should have been democrats for years if the party had been what it used to be. It's the real shame of their not being allowed to vote for an actual liberal candidate once one came around.

But the bribes have been paid, handshakes made, promises to keep the gravy train rolling. It wouldn't do to have someone catch fire and threaten all that, no matter what the people want.

I doubt it did any good but I feel I was accurate as the poster posted this:

1. Kind of coincides with Bernie going negative and stepping up

his campaign of lies and insinuation. I guess we'll see how many people were fooled by his Hail Mary Papal ambush by this time tomorrow. Bernie has proven how gullible certain segments of the electorate are. Fortunately you can't fool all the people all the time.

My response:

9. Your post is pure Rove, Hillary, not Sanders has been running the negative campaign. He

Is avoiding the worst of her many scandals and sticks to policy differences rather than her shady cash to "her foundation" in exchange for weapon sales such as cluster bombs and war aircraft to Saudi Arabia to be used against largely civilians. He has stayed away from the email (multiple scandals revealed within the emails themselves) as well as the truth that She is under FBI investigation and has already hired her criminal defense attorney among many other embarrassingly corrupt things she has been doing, a negative campaign would do that and wouldn't even have to resort to the non-existent lies you write of to pull off such a "negative campaign."

He has yet to run negative and you bloody well now it.

You are using the Rovian tactic that involves projection and lying in order to use a candidates strength and paint it as the opposite of what it is! This is called in political terms "swift-boating". Please stop, it is a GOP tactic and embarrasses all Democrats when a Democrat uses such GOP tactics. She even had her campaign announce her plan to go negative by telling the reporter attached to her campaign that she was as a warning, perhaps intended to intimidate him to drop out of the race after daring to win so many States in a row. Or perhaps due to pure Hubris

Stop embarrassing yourself and by extension all other Democrats by adopting the Rove play book you are using, Just stop it! Please.

But, I agree. Claiming Bernie harmed party unity is a joke. Neither Bernie nor his campaign surrogates ever attacked Hillary supporters. He did go against her heritage or her religion. He did nothing low. As far as the Hail Mary, give me a break. He unselfishly took time that he r needed for campaigning in New York to further the causes of peace and economic justice, some of the causes to which he has devoted his adult life. Too bad if it made heads explode in the other camp. Some of them tar anything.

creating the Clinton campaign's own little media network and echo chamber just like the GOP have. It is working as expected, and part of that involves people quoting, tweeting, re tweeting and Facebook posting the campaign propaganda.

This is a huge advantage (just like having Hillary's daughter strategically placed on the board of the Daily Beast recently) as well as having close ties and large contributions from the owners of most of the MSM networks.

Then there is the fact that the Party establishment including the DNC is firmly biased in her favor.

All these things are true and with these givens we should be seeing a Clinton blowout, in fact, with such a huge advantage, the race should have been won after the first three or four States, BUT SUCH IS NOT HAPPENING!

All that these incredibly strong advantages she has against a candidate that will only accept money from people, not PACs in the age of citizen's united show how much stronger of a candidate he is, and how big and enthusiastic his base is!

Especially considering he may even win this primary and is certainly very competitive!

If he even comes close in NY, he could destroy her in Cali among other paces, take pride and comfort in that. No matter how much the deck has been stacked against him, and I have, after 37 years of actively following politics, never seen the deck so incredibly stacked against any candidate.

His movement is so fucking strong, he will get to the convention no matter what!

since many of us Obama supporters (I was one then, though he soon lost me after he was in office) were concerned he could be assassinated, he was receiving death threats at the time, there are a lot of unstable racists in this country, and Obama appeared (not really the case, as it turned out) to be running against the MIC and against the establishment, so we were worried about him.

She could have rightfully stayed in the race for that reason, but the way she so brazenly and publicly said it made the assassination risk even higher.

He's friends with the Clintons, you know.

I think the strategy is to use him as a "bad cop" and hillary as the "good cop".

In short I think we're being cynically manipulated by people who think they own the world and are gaming the system.
