(10,749 posts)If the race were flipped, you know full well that they would argue that Hillary should stay on the race. In it to win it. All the way to the convention. Which is as it should be.
So why the fucking bullshit that Bernie should drop out to unite the party. He can't win. His campaign is in disarray, etc. I am fed up with it. One of the problems with this crap is that if for some reason the regrouping in Vermont tomorrow leads to his dropping out, they'll claim credit and in the same breath call him a quitter.
And, incidentally, while Clinton is in the lea, it's not as if her campaign had been flawless. She lost 8 races on a row. Bill has been an embarrassment. And let's not forget the fbi investigation. To say nothing of her position changes. She was for the top before she was against it. She was opposed to $15 before she as for it. Oh and let's not forget that she's a shill for Wall Street. So she's far from perfect herself. And don't get me started on, she can get things done. If she faces a republican congress, ain't nothing gonna happen for eight more years regardless of which dem is on the WH.
I am sickened by the shit thats going on here.

(11,605 posts)If he is way behind in pledged delegates at that point I think he should bow out. Otherwise he risks becoming a Kucinich-like protest candidate and losing the credibility and popularity he has built. After the primaries if he doesn't win I would rather see him support progressive downballot candidates.
