A problem with believing republicans are always the greatest evil

is that it is used as shield to prevent serious examination of what is accepted... which is to say, the somewhat less evil of democrats.

Wouldn't a slightly less evil democrat who didn't want to be scrutinized by democratic voters promote that kind of thinking?

Wouldn't a clique of incumbent democratic politicians who promote il-liberal party rules, and anti-labor, anti consumer, anti-citizen economic, law and order, trade, immigration and militaristic policies want to promote that meme to free them from scrutiny and accountability by voters?

Only a person heavily fettered so he/she could not run away would sit still for this once the party leaderships' game was known

Only a person altered by the experience of being so bound could sit in those chains and not scream a warning to others
