The time for dealing with Hillary supporters is over! Let's focus on getting Bernie nominated!

Let us leave the HRC supporters to their own devices! We have a lot of work to do if we have a chance of getting Bernie to the nomination! California has the capability of wiping out whatever lead Hillary has over Bernie. But, in order to do so, we must be active in California, and we need to be active there now!

Don't engage with Hillary supporters... it's a delaying tactic... as long as you're engaging them, you're not spreading the word about Bernie! If a Hillary supporter engages you, be polite and end the conversation, then move on. We cannot win them over... as I said before, they want only to distract us!

We need to phone bank! We need to Volunteer! If you can donate, please do! If you're a Cali Native, get in contact with the local Bernie Campaign offices to find out how to help!

GO BERNIE!!!

Sometimes I even tell them they are now ignored. Last bit of respect and all that. My list today has probably doubled in size. And DU appears much saner.

If we really believe in saving our country we are obligated to fight. I love this approach. I am a converted conservative. I voted for Reagan twice, GB twice and W twice, McCain and Romney. Before I scare you with this I am 100% behind Sanders. Why is that? Because there is a time and a place for everything and the time to set things straight is NOW. We must elect Sanders, take our elections back, break up the banks, increase minimum wage, legalize pot, fix our inner cities, establish universal health care, and follow his common sense approach to dealing with the Middle East. I did not mention Global Warming because I simply do not understand this at this point because I was taking Fox News drugs. I have now unplugged from the matrix and will study that issue now that I know I was being duped by the system. Just being honest on this point.

So your approach makes sense. How many Independents are there in California? How many people are like me who have come to their senses? It is imperative that we do all we can to win them over. I am donating money but am thinking that I could help other people who lean right or Independent take a close honest look. That is all that is required in my humble opinion. If they would listen to his Georgetown speech or his talk at the Brookings Institute the common sense and logic he puts forth will win many over. So I am going to call the Sanders campaign office to offer my help.

Bravo for this rally cry!!!!!

It is real nice to have folks like you come to this side. It is a bit more than inspiring, it is also encouraging.

We are all counting on California to make a big difference, good to have you on DU.

9. Winning in November

I think if we can get Sanders nominated he wins a huge landslide over Trump. I mean look at the contrast. On one hand a man of principle and integrity and a walking talking orange cartoon character on the other. One has logical well argued solutions and the other one has slogans. Sanders will kick Trumps ass and hard. If Trump plays dirty with Sanders it will backfire in a big way because Sanders is so damn likable. Sanders is calm and reasonable and.....well it just fricken obvious who is the better leader.

I predict there will be many conservatives like me who come over. I already know several. There are many conservative people who just want solutions. They are common sense conservatives or better stated common sense people who happen to affiliate with the right. Match the Sanders common sense approach with these common sense people and you have progressives teaming up with Independents and common sense conservatives and the revolution is on with a coalition of citizens working together. I do not see this affect working with Clinton for too many reasons to get into.

As I type this I just get pumped and excited about what could be. So I never thought I would say this but I am rooting for democrats to wake up and vote the principles they have espoused all these years. If progressives really want change now is the time and Sanders is the leader who can get this done and we the people can do this together!!!

One more point along these lines. To enact the kind of change that is needed, sweeping reforms, bold inner city investments, taking on Wall Street, etc..you have to have a mandate. I am really surprised Democrats that support Hillary do not see this. She will win over Trump but Sanders would crush Trump and get the very mandate that is needed as well as appealing to a broader base of people especially young people.

I can't phone bank because at&t charges horrific mobile voice prices.

What I can do is: limit drinking my favorite beer, cut back on my smoking (don't ask), suffer through a few more toothaches.

This I do to be able to donate to the Bernie campaign.

Yes indeed - GO BERNIE!!! GO US ALL!!!

Ignoring his opponent's supporters and ignoring the establishment media are two good ways to stay positive.
