Bernie lost New York tonight, but the battle for the nomination continues. Five states vote one week from tonight -- Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.

If Bernie does well on April 26, it will set up an epic showdown on June 7 in six states, including California's massive 475 pledged delegates.

Here's what Bernie just said about tonight's results:

"What’s important is that it looks like we’re going win a lot more delegates in New York than any state that voted or caucused before tonight.

So what does that mean? Five important states vote one week from tonight, with more delegates at stake than Hillary Clinton led by coming into tonight. And if we do well next Tuesday, we remain in a position to take the pledged delegate lead when almost 700 delegates are up-for-grabs on June 7."

Bernie's right. Now we need to make sure his campaign has the resources it needs to turn voters on April 26.
