2. Hard to tell. it's not like New York invented voter suppression just for this election

It's been so bad for so long that teabaggers cite it to justify their anti-democracy measures. it appears to be a systemic, regular problem at the state level.

That every single clinton supporter seems to be fine with that isn't indicative of anything other than they're assholes.

Your right, Texas did it with the help of Bill Clinton, Bob Bullock (another Democratic sellout) and the Bush's. Cecile Richards should be ashamed for backing Hillary.

Texas voter ID laws caused me and my brother to spend a lot of time and money to make sure we could vote.

But yet, Texas has open primaries. You don't suppose outsiders might have asked for Democratic ballots to assure a weak candidate in the GE.

It worked, Hillary won here.

It was not the Hillary campaign who brought attention to the breach.

4. The NY voter database will have history logs.

which will show what was changed on each record when and by whom, and the login or website that made the changes.

And the IT department will have backups from last August or September that can be pulled, and compared to the current version.

Only a TRULY INDEPENDENT IT TECH could expose this corruption. BERNIE needs to find some non-corrupt IT TECHS.

Anonymous? They're the only ones I would trust.

There should be independent techs (especially to be present in IT when pulling the backups and history logs of the voter database from Sept and versions from now for a comparison audit), plus independent non-politician outside observers, plus an independent due diligence accountant.

With 10-12 people in the room, would be a chance for a fair audit and to see what happened.

“Entire city blocks and buildings full of voters were purged from the voting lists,” according to reports from New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, who supports Hillary Clinton.

15. I agree that there should be such logs and backups

but the cavalier way data about votes and voter registration are treated--say in comparison with a financial accounting system, which have these things--I'm not so confident. Even without those, they might be able to find out what happened with some forensic tools, but who knows how deep they will dig.

In any case, I suspect that this is incompetence rather than fraud. The department in in NYC is famous for being slow and incompetent, which probably explains why a lot people who switched to Democrat from independent weren't included. Workers might not have entered the changed soon enough. I heard about one such case, where the voter had printed documentation to prove what happened. The changes and deletions are handled by the boroughs rather than the city elections commission, which explains why it was worse in Brooklyn than elsewhere. The head of elections said they were undestaffed and had gotten behind on voter cleanup. It could be rue.

What I find hard to believe are the election results and exit polls, but that's just me.

16. Entire city blocks were purged. Entire apartment buildings.

That could be fraud, incompetence OR a bad database (bad programming).

That is what an audit would determine and why it's needed badly before November.

The other issue raised is people alleging that their party affiliation switched without their request or permission.

This could be easily audited, and the thing to look for is if any or many of these affiliations were changed at the same time (as if a database script was run). Also, the login to make that change - was it from the SOS website, or from a live clerk, or from a mail-in form, or from a mobile phone app?

I'm pretty sure every department has an IT department, but also the city/county itself has a separate IT department - it will be the reputations of the techie guys/gals' from all those IT departments on the line if the voter data was breached.

The database admins should be chomping at the bit to be in on these audits.

A REPUB MOVE.

THE DNC/DWS/NGP-VAN hacked Bernie files and probably deliberately dropped the firewall so Bernie's tech's would find it so they could POINT FINGERS AT THE SANDERS CAMPAIGN to take the attention away from what THEY did in October 2015. They're guilty of the crime and tried to blame it on Bernie.

I'm glad Bernie kept the lawsuit active and alive...

it's not a coincidence and is just one more reason Bernie needs to file a lawsuit.
