I've been a Democrat my whole life..from a long line of union workers and leaders.. the party has left me.. It has been swallowed from the Right by corporatism. Live long and prosper.. organize, unite, and save our democracy...

vote your conscience .. we've been duped to many times by the corporate elite and the clinton/bush crime family

I cannot leave DU completely because of n2doc. Gotta have my toons!! But I would like to join a progressives page. I also feel the ground shifting to the right under my feet. I have the course of my adult life gone from liberal repub to independent to conservative Dem to now I am a progressive. And I know I changed, but not that much!! The country has shifted to the right. The Dem party has shifted to the right. I am a progressive by choice.

I meant I would not leave DU totally. I would be delighted to join another place to exchange comments with progressives but I would stay with DU at least for my morning toons! Gotta have my morning toons. Tis an addiction! Smile.

We can still win this thing. Obama was farther behind than we are and he pulled it out. Get out the vote and overcome the "fix". There are too many of us and we are worth fighting for. Dont give up.....work harder!!!

Or Cali by a few points, and then smaller states in landslides. The path is treacherous, and the traitors will be trying to close off the path at every turn. I just can't wait for it to be over.
