Bubzer's tips for dealing with hostilleries - Depersonalize and Shift from Reactive to Proactive

“Don't take anything personally… What others say and do is a projection of their own reality… When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.”

One effective way to de-personalize is to put yourself in the other person’s shoes, even for just a moment. For example, consider the offender you’re dealing with, and complete the sentence: “It must not be easy…”

Sorry if they support sending Honduran children back into a war zone. If they are at peace with fracking. If it doesn't matter that an FBI investigation on a presumed party leader could effectively kill the party. If pay for play is a-okay. Then I really don't care even a little if something isn't easy for them. We are simply not in the same universe of thinking. I would rather try to find common ground with CONS who would make exceptions and grant amnesty to Honduran children because they have a heart enough to make exceptions for children who would be in danger. That understand the environment needs protection. That would ask one of theirs to step down for the sake of their party. That have enough morals to not take bribes to get the privilege of being able to by mass killing machines. And shockingly enough there are some CONS that have some principals even though we might disagree on taxes and some social issues.

edited for clarification

"Sorry if you support sending Honduran children back into a war zone. If you are at peace with fracking." Two things you need to consider... first; we're in the Bernie group... HRC posters rarely post here.. and two; I have a whole host of pro Bernie images in my signature line. I'm very very pro Bernie.

I won't be on speaking terms with them nor work with them. I think other people can make their own decisions, but that is how I came to my decision.

Perhaps consider changing the word "you" in the first few sentences to "they".
