Dear Editor,
As a long-term supporter of Bernie Sanders, I was startled to receive an unexpected email from the HRC Campaign in October, 2015, thanking me for becoming a member of Hillary for America. I never would do such a thing and actually, this quite upset me. Immediately, I detected something wasnt quite right. I wrote them back three times and actually asked them if they were stealing Bernies voter info.
This was long before the public knew anything about a data breach. I replied that I would be informing the media about this and did in fact write a couple media outlets. I was quite upset about the fact they had my info; I asked them to never contact me again. The tone of my email meant business. I told them if I ever found my info on any petition I would sue. Now, of course, with all the purging of the voter rolls, and the knowledge of the DNC data breach, it has become glaringly obvious just exactly WHO accessed that data breach, and it wasnt Bernies campaign after all!
I did check to see if my voter info was intact since I had just switched to Democrat from a lifelong Independent so I could vote for Bernie Sanders. and it was listed correctly. Now I think about the letter and my threat and wonder if my voter info was left intact because of it?

(8,636 posts)I haven't opened it yet........if the donation envelope is postage paid, I'll send it back with a couple of blank pages.

(14,691 posts)but no emails. Of course the donation envelope is postage paid - with the usual "By using your own first-class stamp to return this envelope, you will save us much-needed funds." There's a form inside asking for comments - don't miss that! I've told her exactly what I think - and I don't add a stamp.

(6,119 posts)from my friend Bill, Hillary, and even Chelsea. They must have attended a Dale Carnegie course because they all called me by my first name a lot in the emails to the point to where it was just plain creepy. I finally unsubscribed to them and they went away.

(18,791 posts)I've always wondered if DWS just let Camp Weathervane do whatever they want with DNC data.

(4,879 posts)Democrats better dump the Clinton's before they find themselves in this situation:

(7,499 posts)and, in the area where it asked for comments for Hillary, I filled in all the reasons I am voting for Bernie and do not and will not support her. I put one of my Bernie stickers on it and sent it back in their paid envelope.
But my husband out did me. In the comments section he succinctly wrote a three word sentence ending in "yourself".
Guess she's not winning the hearts and minds....

(17,651 posts)and not Sanders.
I have received a Hillary for "something" letter and 3 Hillary Victory Fund letters. I have gotten EXACTLY ZERO letters from any other political candidate including Bernie Sanders.
Hillary and Debbie are running a filthy, scandalous campaign and both can kick rocks as far as I'm concerned.
A nicer DUer suggested I tape the prepaid envelope to a brick, rock or some other useless household item and mail it. Brilliant idea!

(3,033 posts)Clinton and her computer geeks had access to Bernie's voter database, and New York was a must-win for Hillary. Hundreds of thousands of Democrats were purged from the voter rolls in New York. Her delegate is doing the audit.
I'm no private investigator, but come on...
