Has anybody here ever seen "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"

I have only seen the first two versions of it, the 50s one and the 70s one.

Sometimes I get the feeling that the inhabitants of this site, or at least some of them, are like the people in that movie, after they had been colonized by the pod people.

hello?

It got below a 6 on the rating
and while I do suspect some our folks here in Alabama as being pod people,
the idea of a remote Army base is laughable.
Military bases are all over the place here in the South and surrounded by businesses wanting the money generated by the bases.

( Yeah, like THAT's the thing to be picky about in a low budget people pod movie..... )

When you defend something that a person close to you does or a figure you admire, but would scream like hell if someone else did those behaviors something is definitely amiss.

I think I know the lines by heart.

And the pod people were from Day of the Triffids, any way.

They're more like zombies here any way.

I was going to look for body snatchers...you did that...not zombies 'replicas'

That movie scared me, as did The Exorcist, Psycho, and The Hand Maidens Tale

For a couple months I wouldn't go to sleep until I checked the basement, all the closets, under all the beds, out in the back yard, etc. etc. I was so freaked out by it I thought I'd never get over it and be able to sleep normally again.

Seriously. Or sometimes just "zombies."

They almost never say anything human. It creeps me out every time I go over there. It must feel awful to be them.

Like something is just missing from them, emotionally, and morally.
