I have to say it: Hillary reminds me of Nixon in so many ways. So I looked it up to see if anybody

else feels the same. I found this:

[hr]

Hillary Clinton's alleged penchant for secrecy and paranoia has recently drawn repeated unfavorable comparisons to one of the most infamous characters in US politics: President Richard Nixon.

One of the characteristics Purdum that argued Clinton, the Democratic front-runner for president in 2016, shared with Nixon was a focus on "grievances" and a consistent belief of being wronged.

"What Clinton does share with Nixon is that she, too, is 'a serial collector of resentments,' as Nixon chronicler Rick Perlstein described the 37th president," Purdum wrote. "Whether complaining as the wife of the Arkansas governor that her family couldn't have a swimming pool like 'normal people,' or saying last summer that she and her husband were 'broke' with legal bills when they left the White House, she has come by her grievances the hard way, and worn them on her sleeve."

Additionally, Purdum quoted several former Nixon staffers who saw similarities between Nixon and Clinton, especially in light of last week's email scandal. The New York Times revealed last Monday that Clinton exclusively used a personal email while she served as secretary of state. The paper reported this may have violated federal guidelines and left state secrets vulnerable on unsecure servers.

...it might as well be correct the Watergate...which she happened to work on the prosecution. Perhaps she picked up some pointers from that. Also this is very Nixon like...

It’s still unclear if these gutter tactics are tied to Correct the Record, the pro-Hillary Clinton Super PAC that openly declared last week that it would launch a sophisticated social media campaign aimed at Bernie Sanders supporters. Correct the Record earmarked $1 million for the effort, named “Barrier Breakers 2016,” which aims to “correct” Sanders supporters who criticize Hillary Clinton on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and Instagram.

The shutdown of pro-Sanders groups comes just one day before a crucial string of primaries in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island, where 384 pledged delegates are at stake.

I had not thought of this. Another Nixon? How depressing. That way of thinking -- everything so controlled. Well, I knew that -- have commented many times on the clinton need for total control, manipulation, money. A lot of what Nixon suffered was of his own making or his own thinking. And she is this way -- I can see it. I am right, you are wrong. Total obedience. Total support. That is the way repubs think. She is going to have a problem with that big tent - unity thing!

Hillary, OTOH, was born to well-to-do family. In that way, I respect Nixon more.

Nixon was driven to "finally " win the White House, after failed attempts, the same way Hillary is. However the lust for the White House has become her life's work. Using every dirty underhanded tactic available. If she becomes president I will be hoping she ,like Nixon, resign in disgrace! Hey then she'll have 2 firsts!
Let's make sure that doesn't happen VOTE BERNIE!
