Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders both have awful gun control plans

Seriously, neither would lower gun violence by 10%.

So... why the hell is she allowed to act like her plans mean she cares more about gun violence than Bernie?

Neither care more than they have to, and a lot less than a sane person would, but... BUT... that's a reflection of the society they live in... think about how Americans see 30K people die at the end of a gun year after year AND support for gun control drops... that's America... it's insane when it comes to many many things.

At the end of the day, no US politicians are offering a solution that will even reduce gun violence by 25%, and that fact alone should shut up any candidate's supporters that claim that their candidate "cares" about gun violence.

And the next time you see a Hillary supporter telling you they can't support Bernie because of his gun polices ask them why Hillary is ok with 90+% of gun violence remaining as is, because that's Hillary's plan: end less than 10% of gun violence.

And here's the worst part: Hillary supporters largely know this. They are literally just playing games - as usual - with something incredibly important. In this case playing games with the deaths of thousands of kids a year.

If there WAS A candidate that had MEANINGFUL PLANS to reduce gun violence by 50% a year for the next 10 years, they'd have my vote... if the plan made sense of course. But that candidate CAN NOT EXIST in America. Not in 2016 and probably not in 2026 or 2036.

So - I support Bernie, more than I have ever supported any other political candidate, but not because of his standard American gun policies. And Hilary's standard American gun control plans are no better... and when you add her political rhetoric about "enough is enough" etc., it just makes her look more dishonest than before and certainly as shameless as a human being can be.

And of course, reducing poverty and increasing access to affordable services like healthcare and education WOULD meaningfully impact crime and violence... over the long term...
