If Bernie Sanders Isn’t Democratic Nominee, Don’t Blame Bernie or Bust for Trump’s Victory

Why would Bernie or Bust voters risk a future with Donald Trump by refusing to vote for Hillary Clinton?

It’s structural change Bernie or Bust wants; it’s the status quo that Clinton voters want to uphold. I state the case for writing-in Bernie Sanders, if he isn’t the Democratic nominee, in this YouTube segment.

As we’ve heard throughout this election, “Don’t let perfection be the enemy of the good.”

Sure, Clinton would be better than Trump, but better won’t prevent the next endless war, or devastating financial collapse. President Obama is sending even more American soldiers to Syria, imagine what Clinton would do as president.

my interest in this election cycle drops to below zero. I will vote down ticket on issues and candidates as we have several important state races here in Missouri and certainly there will be some important issues as well, but I suspect I might will miss the top line of the ballot.

to plead the case right here in the open in case any electors are viewing (which ironically is why I hate the jury system, and it should be abandoned)

If that happens, please write in Bernie if your state counts writein votes. There are many many Bernie supporters, and we might even throw the election into the electoral college. It is not over with the nomination which ever way that goes.

Also, the Green Party leader Jill Stein has said Bernie is welcome to the Presidential spot on their ballot. They have ballot access in many states and you might be able to help them get on the ballot, if they aren't already, in your state.

Why does anyone think that Hillary is a better candidate than Trump?

He's to the left of her on healthcare.

He's to the left of her on trade deals.

He's to the left of her on H1B visas.

He's to the left of her on regime change/war.

He's to the left of her on cutting the military budget.

He's to the left of her on dark money in politics.

He's to the left of her on Social Security.

Now I don't think for a minute that Trump is honest in his positions, and I would never vote for him or encourage others to do so. But sadly that matches what I (and most voters) think about Clinton. The fact is he's running to the left of her on these issues.

Hillary chose to run on these right-wing positions. That's her choice. Voters also have choices.
