Why are Bernie's layoffs all over the news?

Last edited Wed Apr 27, 2016, 11:41 PM - Edit history (1)

I mean, yeah, of course, the Hillary machine. But are Bernie's former employees so alienated that they ran straight to the media? Is there a mole? Do we have anything like that kind of access to what's going on inside the Hillary campaign?

I'm NOT asking why the media are covering it; I'm asking how they know about it so quickly and in so much detail?

Edited to add: thanks for the replies, but you're answering the wrong question (sorry if my OP was inartful.

I would think he would also be hiring more people in Cali since that is where he is going?

people in offices they don't need anymore BECAUSE THE PRIMARY/CAUCUS IS OVER? He has an office in NYC opened a few weeks ago. The lease is up April 30. The primary was on April 19 so they don't need an office here anymore. Will the next headline be: SANDERS CLOSES OFFICES? You read it here first.

Most people are not politically engaged, if they can maintain the perception that "it's over," they can finally start running against the republicans. It's gonna be harder to do that now though, thanks to the internet. They need Bernie out of the field and he/we are not going anywhere. So it doesn't surprise me they are pushing it hard.

Like Hillary did in 08. He has good advisors. The media is basically pissed he won't do that.

That doesn't fit into their narrative that Bernie is finished, done.

and that he will concentrate on winning California and he's putting people there. That's how the media got the story. And that is big news.

Let's face it - Bernie is being frugal. He's using our donations. He knows he working with his supporters money and he wants to get the best bang for the buck and doesn't want to spend it willy nilly. It's not like he's got SuperPac money of big corporate donations. I have to commend Bernie through this whole campaign as to how wisely he's spent our donations.

I look at the fact that when he is President - he will also spend the money wisely as well.

I'm making another donation to him tonight.

Go Bernie!!!

Feel the Bern!!!!

this very night, 25 - 30 of us converged to sign up for phone banking, canvasing and registering voters for Bernie. Very motivated group - all ages. Great handouts, information and large yard signs passed out. I signed up to host a phone bank on Saturday. Never done that before. Goal for the campaign: register 200,000 new voters!

They want to control the narrative and make it into "He is losing, so he is laying off staff" It is quite ridiculous since he is hiring in CA and future states. I hate the corporate media.

It was in the news section of Bernie's site.

Of course, this has been done before as state primaries and caucuses finish, but some twits in the MSM decided to spin it as going down into the pit.

Boy do they love what they think is blood running in the streets especially
when it concerns Bernie. Good press? Nah just waiting for his doom. They must say it
a lot because I don't listen to them much any more. I had just turned both stations on
then turned them off again.
