He bought because gasoline had gone up to 35 cents! I guess he forgot he was 6' 4". In hindsight, I guess he bought it when he was manic. Anyway, I had to leave it behind for my brother to drive when I went to college in '76. I think my cousin still has his Karmann Ghia convertible.

I mean it seems that someone in Oregon has the personality to do this. Pretty freakin creative if you ask me. Ask the campaign if it can be the official "Campaign Car".
