Bernie Sanders Returns to West Virginia on Thursday, May 5, 2016 *Updated
BURLINGTON, Vt. -- U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Thursday will travel to West Virginia. The Democratic Party presidential candidate will host a community discussion on rural poverty in McDowell County and rallies in Charleston and Morgantown. Sanders will discuss a wide range of issues, including getting big money out of politics, his plan to make public colleges and universities tuition-free, combating climate change and ensuring universal health care.

🐦Doors Open at noon A Future to Believe In Charleston Rally, South Charleston Community Center, 601 Jefferson Road, Charleston
Information for the public: This event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are strongly encouraged. Admission is first come, first served. For security reasons, please do not bring bags and limit what you bring to small, personal items like keys and cell phones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs, and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security. Limited parking is available on site, carpooling is encouraged. Additional parking may be found at the park and ride on Maccorkle Ave SW and Little Creek Park.
